AM Day trip to the foodie region of Emilia
In Sorbara a visit to an ancient "acetaia" producer of the famous “balsamic", lunch under the arcades tasting dishes of the tradition
PM In Modena for a walk in the historic center of town, to visit the Pavarotti's Museum home to taste the atmosphere of this world famous opera singer

AM We leave Emilia to drive to Ravenna, the main city of Romagna, one of Italy’s most important historic and artistic sites, for a guided tour of the basilica of San Vitale and bizantine monuments

PM After lunch transfer to Dozza, the old "borgo" with it’s murals and castle, visit the regional Enoteca of Emilia Romagna and dinner at the well loved Restaurant La Scuderia with traditional dishes

Introduction to Bologna

This was a highlight in my life. The staff was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. Group members were great, too, and contributed so much - professionaly and socially. Planning was really good: beautiful places, good variation, and great photography opportunities. I loved the sites in Zion, Grand Canyon, slot canyons, and Virgin river. East Canyon overlook and Beehives a little less unique, but still a great experience. Thanks for a great week. Ofer

I loved everything about this workshop - the locations, the instructors, the logistics, my fellow travelers. I learned a lot about photography, and came back with many images that I'm proud of. Only a couple small complaints about the itinerary - I wish we had more time at the Grand Canyon, and an earlier start at Horseshoe Bend. But those issues were well outside the control of the trip organizers, and they did their best to overcome those difficulties. Thanks for a wonderful week!

The Lakes trip was a stunning visual feast and we were looked after really well by Mauro and Randy. The hotels were comfortable and Lake Orta was spectacular. Thank you to Italy Workshops for another wonderful experience (especially the gelato)

This was an extraordinary trip! Drake and his team, Gabrielle and Mauro, organized the best locations for our workshop. Our accommodations were unique (even a cave in Matera!) Drake’s review and coaching of our photography was really helpful - and kind. With a range of skill among the travelers, that was great. The experiences in small towns, were beautifully thought out. Meals were excellent! We had a small group, so we could be flexible in making small adjustments to the itinerary if needed or a better opportunity presented itself. This is our second time to travel with Italy Workshops and it won’t be the last!
